Zini Pan is a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She completed her PhD at CUHK in 2023, was a postdoctoral researcher at the same university from 2023 to 2024, and then became a lecturer. Her research interests include cooperative control, networked systems and their applications. Cooperative control studies how several agents coordinate their actions through communication, for example drone formations or sensor networks, while networked systems examine how communication delay and packet loss affect control stability. Both sit where control theory meets communications.
Pan works in the networked branch of control theory, with applications in multi-agent coordination and sensor networks; her path from CUHK doctorate to postdoc and lectureship has been built within the same department.
