SONG Qi

Song Qi is chairman, executive director and chief executive officer of Guangzhou Meet Noodle Catering, the company behind the Meet Noodle restaurant chain. Its listing document, published in November 2025, records that he was 39 years old at the time and had served as an executive director since 14 February 2014, responsible for setting the group's overall development strategy and overseeing its operations. Before founding the restaurant business he worked in restaurant development at Yum China's Guangdong arm from November 2011 to May 2012; that business runs the KFC and Pizza Hut brands in mainland China. From October 2010 to June 2011 he was responsible for restaurant operations at MHK Restaurants Limited, formerly McDonald's Restaurants (Hong Kong). He earned a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in November 2009 and a bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering from South China University of Technology in July 2008. The listing document shows a board of three executive directors, one non-executive director and three independent non-executive directors. All three executive directors joined the group on 14 February 2014; one of them, Luo Yanling, is his spouse and was appointed an executive director in April 2025 with responsibility for supply chain, food safety, menu development and operating standards. Wang Xiaolong is the non-executive director, while Xu Lei, Chen Guobin and Zhong Jiesheng became independent non-executive directors on 1 April 2025.
