WONG Man Li

Wong Man Li is executive director, chairman, chief executive officer and president of Man Wah Holdings Limited, and holds the Bronze Bauhinia Star and a Justice of the Peace appointment. Man Wah began as a sofa maker and trades under the code 1999; its business review notes that group products are sold in more than 60 countries and compete with many global sofa manufacturers. He is also a director of a number of the group's subsidiaries and of Man Wah Investments Limited, its controlling shareholder — placing him at once at the operating helm and at a key point in the controlling chain. His public profile centres on business and industry bodies. The report lists him as a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and records that in May 2015 he was elected executive chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Industry and Commerce and became founding chairman of the Building HK Foundation Limited.
