XU Ting

Dr Xu Ting is founder, chairman, executive director and chief executive officer of Alphamab Oncology, listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under stock code 9966. The company's 2025 annual report records that he was 53 years old and is responsible for the overall management of the group's business strategy, corporate development and research and development, as well as oversight of its commercial viability and sustainability; he is also a director and general manager of Jiangsu Alphamab. The report states that he was appointed a director on 28 March 2018 and chairman on 31 October 2018, was re-designated an executive director on 3 July 2019, and has been chief executive officer since 1 October 2018. He has roughly 24 years of experience in drug research and development: he worked at EMD Serono Research Institute, now part of Merck KGaA, from November 2003 to June 2007; was a senior research fellow at Biogen IDEC from June 2007 to 2010; and founded Suzhou Alphamab, the company's predecessor and a connected person, in November 2008, serving as its director from incorporation and later as its chairman. The company focuses on antibody medicines, and the report describes a strategy centred on bispecific antibodies and dual-payload antibody-drug conjugates, together with continued iteration of its technology platforms.
