Kehuan Zhang is a professor in the Department of Information Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He took bachelor's and master's degrees at Hunan University in 2001 and 2004, worked in industry between 2004 and 2007, then went to the United States for a PhD at Indiana University Bloomington, joining CUHK in 2012. During his doctoral studies he was an intern at the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center in the summer of 2010. His path runs from engineering at Hunan University through industry experience to doctoral work in the United States — a work-then-study route that tends to keep research questions close to real systems. He now teaches and researches in the information engineering department. This entry follows the departmental page and leaves unlisted research topics, papers or awards blank; checked on 29 October 2026.
