ZHU Ping

Zhu Ping is an executive director and chief executive officer of Shanghai Realway Capital Assets Management, listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under stock code 1835. The company's 2025 annual report records that he was 54 years old and had served as chief executive officer and an executive director since January 2010. He also sits on the boards of several subsidiaries, chairs the nomination committee and is a member of the remuneration committee; he takes part in day-to-day management and is chiefly responsible for the group's development, strategic planning, positioning and overall business management. The report sets out his legal and investment background. He became a member of the All China Lawyers Association in 1996 and practised law for more than 20 years. From August 1993 to February 1995 he was a clerk at the Shanghai Railway Transport Intermediate Court; from March 1995 to November 1998 he was a lawyer's assistant at Hongqiao Zhenghan Law Firm, formerly Shanghai Hongqiao Law Firm; he joined Shanghai Boss & Young in May 1999 and was its managing partner from December 2008 to January 2014, after which he took an honorary role there in order to devote more time to the group. He was also a senior vice president of E-House China from October 2006 to December 2008 and general manager of Tianjin Binhai Lianchuang Investment Fund Management in 2009. He obtained a bachelor's degree from the law school of East China University of Political Science and Law in June 1993, an executive MBA from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in October 2009 and a doctorate in business administration from the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in July 2017, and passed China's fund practitioner qualification examination in April 2016. The company listed on 13 November 2018, and the report notes that the group employed 77 people at the end of 2025.
