The Kangxi 27 (1688) edition of the Xin’an County Gazetteer, “Geographical Records” juan 3, carries an entry on Guanfu Mountain: it places the hill inside Fat Tong Mun and east of the Kap Shui Mun narrows, records that in the Jingyan era of the Southern Song the emperor’s ships lay there and that the site survived, and adds that a patrol office once stood there and had by then moved to Chai Wai village. This content fact was read by hand from the public-domain scan and sits alongside the Chronicles archive entries for 1277 (Emperor Duanzong’s party moving to Guanfu Chang and the Yuan naval pursuit reaching it). The gazetteer prints only the reign title Jingyan (1276–1278); this site never narrows it to a single Gregorian year — the timeline position (1277) is an ordering device for comparison only.
