程伯中

程伯中（Ching Pak-Chung）係香港電子工程學者，香港中文大學電子工程學研究教授、信興高等工程研究所所長，獲頒銀紫荊星章（SBS）同銅紫荊星章（BBS）。程伯中喺英國利物浦大學取得工程學士同博士學位。佢嘅研究領域包括自適應數字信號處理、時延估計與目標定位、盲信號估計與分離、自動語音識別同講者識別。1982年，程伯中回港，任教於當時嘅香港理工學院。1984年，佢加入香港中文大學電子工程學系。1998至2003年，程伯中擔任香港中文大學工程學院院長。2006至2014年，佢出任香港中文大學副校長，亦曾任香港中文大學深圳研究院院長。程伯中亦係逸夫書院院長同中大校董會成員。佢係電氣和電子工程師學會（IEEE）院士、英國工程技術學會（IET）院士、香港工程師學會（HKIE）院士同香港工程科學院院士。程伯中亦獲利物浦大學頒授榮譽科學博士學位。

Professor Ching Pak-Chung SBS BBS is a Hong Kong electronic engineering scholar. He is a Research Professor of Electronic Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and Director of the Shun Hing Institute of Advanced Engineering. He received his BEng and PhD from the University of Liverpool. His research areas include adaptive digital signal processing, time delay estimation and target localization, blind signal estimation and separation, automatic speech recognition, and speaker recognition. Ching returned to Hong Kong in 1982 and taught at the then Hong Kong Polytechnic. He joined CUHK in 1984. From 1998 to 2003, he served as Dean of Engineering at CUHK. From 2006 to 2014, he was Pro-Vice-Chancellor/Vice-President of CUHK and also served as Director of the CUHK Shenzhen Research Institute. He was also Master of Shaw College. He is a Fellow of IEEE, IET, HKIE, and the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences, and received an honorary DSc from the University of Liverpool.
