嘉慶《新安縣志》卷之二 輿地畧一按目錄次序收「月令、風俗、城市（墟市／街市）、都里（村莊）」四個分段，兩份名單分開排列（批次 M10 已讀「都里」大部分；本批 M11 補讀「城市」整段）。「城市」段起於掃描本第 55 頁上葉左半：同葉右半仲係「風俗」正文尾（末句作「在有司謹記之以備觀覽焉」），左半第一欄就係分段標目「城市」（大字，本批以 1100 px 窄條高倍覆核），標目之後八個條目依次係城內四牌樓市、南頭舊市、南頭中市、南頭新市、西鄉大廟前市、茅洲新市、茅洲舊市、和平墟；名單跨到第 55 頁下葉（右半 9＋左半 9＝18 個）、再跨到第 56 頁上葉（右半 9＋左半 6＝15 個），末尾就係分段題「都里」同【典史管屬村莊】標目（批次 M10 已讀）。讀法照舊：一個掃描頁＝上下兩葉，葉內右半先讀、左半後讀（跨過版心續讀）；本批三葉實測都係一欄一個名。全部逐條點算＝8＋18＋15＝41 個墟市／街市名。逐葉名單（照掃描本字形抄錄，右半先讀、同一欄由上而下；小字註照錄並以〔〕標示）：第 55 頁上葉左半 8 名（標目之後）——城內四牌樓市、南頭舊市、南頭中市、南頭新市、西鄉大廟前市、茅洲新市、茅洲舊市、和平墟；第 55 頁下葉右半 9 名——白灰洛〔今廢〕、周家村墟〔今廢〕、蛋家蓢墟〔今廢〕、沙井墟〔新增〕、雲林墟、昇平墟〔新增〕、望牛墩墟、清平墟〔在新橋村側，新增〕、新墟〔在沙井村內，新增〕；第 55 頁下葉左半 9 名——白龍岡墟〔新增〕、黃松岡墟、橋頭墟〔新增〕、碧頭墟、福永墟、下步墟〔今廢〕、月岡屯墟、圓朗墟〔即舊志大橋墩墟〕、深圳墟；第 56 頁上葉右半 9 名——石湖墟〔舊志天岡，今移石湖〕、大步墟、清湖墟、平湖墟、永豐墟、塘頭下新墟、葵涌墟、鹽田墟、清溪墟；第 56 頁上葉左半 6 名——塘勒墟〔今入東莞〕、王母墟〔新增〕、長洲墟〔新增〕、碧洲墟〔新增〕、大鵬城西門街市〔新增〕、烏石巖墟〔新增〕。本段最硬嘅對照係香港四個墟市：《香港志》志錄記 1819 年香港境內共有四個墟市——圓朗墟（由大橋墩墟遷移而來、即今元朗舊墟）、石湖墟（由天岡墟遷移而來、即今上水）、大步墟（亦稱大步頭墟、即今大埔舊墟）同長洲墟（EV-18190000-21／22），四個全部喺本段名單之內；掃描本自己嘅小字註同志錄逐點互相印證——圓朗墟一欄註「即舊志大橋墩墟」（對志錄「由大橋墩墟遷移而來」）、石湖墟一欄註「舊志天岡 今移石湖」（對志錄「由天岡墟遷移而來」），而「大步墟」即志錄所記「大步頭墟」。志錄另記康熙《新安縣志》1688 年嗰三個香港墟市（大橋墩墟、天岡墟、大步頭墟；EV-16880000-01）同 1669 年上水廖氏、河上鄉侯氏同龍躍頭鄧氏三族合建天岡墟、後來遷往石湖墟（EV-16690000-18）——即康熙志嗰三個墟市喺嘉慶志以新名或舊名全部再現（大橋墩墟→圓朗墟、天岡墟→石湖墟、大步頭墟→大步墟）。按站規，本段名單一律「照掃描本字形抄錄」：唔逐條比定今址、唔當統計數字，名同今日某地相同者（深圳墟、沙井墟、福永墟、葵涌墟、鹽田墟、望牛墩墟、清溪墟一類）只並列、唔斷定範圍。小字註係本段一大特色（一個名之後以小字補註），照錄並分類：〔新增〕11 個（沙井墟、昇平墟、清平墟、新墟、白龍岡墟、橋頭墟、王母墟、長洲墟、碧洲墟、大鵬城西門街市、烏石巖墟）、〔今廢〕4 個（白灰洛、周家村墟、蛋家蓢墟、下步墟）、位置註 2 個（清平墟「在新橋村側」、新墟「在沙井村內」，兩者同時帶〔新增〕）、沿革註 2 個（圓朗墟「即舊志大橋墩墟」、石湖墟「舊志天岡 今移石湖」）、轄屬變動註 1 個（塘勒墟「今入東莞」）。字形未能在高倍放大下確認嘅一批（已列入 /coverage 缺口，未完成覆核前唔當已核實名引用）：「白灰洛」（末字形近洛／涇）、「周家村墟」、「蛋家蓢墟」（首字蛋／蜑）、「碧洲墟」（洲／州）、「烏石巖墟」、「塘頭下新墟」、「昇平墟」、「月岡屯墟」。版心方面，同一段內兩種寫法並存：第 55 頁下葉版心實測題「新安縣志／卷之二／墟市」，第 56 頁上葉版心實測題「新安縣志／卷之二／城市」，而分段標目同葉內大字都作「城市」——照錄唔統一；第 55 頁上葉版心仍題「風俗」（該葉右半係風俗正文尾），可見分段起喺葉中。本批同時以 1800 px 半葉圖高倍重核批次 M10 讀過嘅第 56 頁下葉（典史本籍段 36 名），更正三處字形並確認兩處：原讀「萬岡村」實為「莆圍村」、原讀「整頭村」實為「墪頭村」（土底）、原讀「塘蔭村」實為「塘蓢村」（艹＋朗，同本批「蛋家蓢墟」一類）、「莘塘村」同「西歷村」照讀——該五項原列入 M10 字形缺口，現已定案；另第 56 頁上葉「城市」段右半第二欄原讀「大坳墟」實為「大步墟」。M10 條目嘅相應文字已同步更正（見該條目）。

Juan 2 of the Jiaqing gazetteer runs, in the order of its table of contents, through 月令, 風俗, 城市 (markets and street-markets) and 都里 (villages), the two lists being kept apart (batch M10 read most of “Villages”; batch M11 now reads the whole “Cities and Markets” section). That section opens in the left half of the upper leaf of page 55 of the scan: the right half of the same leaf is still the tail of the 風俗 prose (closing with the line 在有司謹記之以備觀覽焉), and the first column of the left half is the section title 城市 in large type (verified on a 1100 px strip in this batch). After the title come eight entries — 城內四牌樓市, 南頭舊市, 南頭中市, 南頭新市, 西鄉大廟前市, 茅洲新市, 茅洲舊市 and 和平墟 — and the list runs on to the lower leaf of page 55 (nine names to each half, eighteen in all) and then to the upper leaf of page 56 (nine in the right half and six in the left, fifteen in all), at the end of which stand the section title 都里 and the heading “Villages under the Registrar’s Office” (read in batch M10). The reading order is as always — one scan page holds two leaves, each leaf read right half first and left half second, reading on across the running head — and each column on these three leaves carries a single name. Counted entry by entry the list holds 8 + 18 + 15 = 41 markets and street-markets. The firmest cross-check here is the four Hong Kong markets: the Chronicles archive records four markets inside Hong Kong in 1819 — 圓朗墟, which moved from 大橋墩墟 and is Yuen Long Old Market today; 石湖墟, which moved from 天岡墟 and is Sheung Shui today; 大步墟, also called 大步頭墟, which is Tai Po Old Market today; and 長洲墟 (EV-18190000-21／22) — and all four stand in this list. The scan’s own small-type notes corroborate the archive point by point: the 圓朗墟 column reads 即舊志大橋墩墟 (“that is, the old gazetteer’s 大橋墩墟”, matching “moved from 大橋墩墟”), the 石湖墟 column reads 舊志天岡 今移石湖 (“the old gazetteer has it at 天岡, now moved to 石湖”, matching “moved from 天岡墟”), and 大步墟 is the archive’s 大步頭墟. The archive also records the three Hong Kong markets of the Kangxi gazetteer of 1688 (大橋墩墟, 天岡墟 and 大步頭墟; EV-16880000-01) and the joint building of 天岡墟 from 1669 by the Liu clan of Sheung Shui, the Hau clan of Ho Sheung Heung and the Tang clan of Lung Yeuk Tau, later moved to 石湖墟 (EV-16690000-18) — so all three Kangxi markets reappear in the Jiaqing list under new or old names (大橋墩墟 → 圓朗墟, 天岡墟 → 石湖墟, 大步頭墟 → 大步墟). Following this site’s rule every name here is transcribed as printed: no modern location is assigned entry by entry, none of it is used as a statistic, and where a name coincides with a place today (深圳墟, 沙井墟, 福永墟, 葵涌墟, 鹽田墟, 望牛墩墟, 清溪墟 and the like) the two are merely set side by side without asserting the same extent. Small-type notes are a feature of this list (a note set small after a name); they are transcribed and grouped here: eleven 〔newly added〕 (沙井墟, 昇平墟, 清平墟, 新墟, 白龍岡墟, 橋頭墟, 王母墟, 長洲墟, 碧洲墟, 大鵬城西門街市, 烏石巖墟), four 〔abandoned〕 (白灰洛, 周家村墟, 蛋家蓢墟, 下步墟), two notes of position (清平墟 “by the side of 新橋村”, 新墟 “inside 沙井村”, both also marked newly added), two of lineage (圓朗墟 “that is, the old gazetteer’s 大橋墩墟”, 石湖墟 “the old gazetteer has it at 天岡, now moved to 石湖”) and one of jurisdiction (塘勒墟 “now in Dongguan”). Characters not confirmed under high magnification, listed as gaps in /coverage and never cited as verified names until re-checked: 白灰洛 (last character 洛 or 涇), 周家村墟, 蛋家蓢墟 (first character 蛋 or 蜑), 碧洲墟 (洲 or 州), 烏石巖墟, 塘頭下新墟, 昇平墟 and 月岡屯墟. On the running heads two spellings coexist inside the one section: the lower leaf of page 55 reads “Xin’an County Gazetteer / juan 2 / 墟市”, the upper leaf of page 56 reads “Xin’an County Gazetteer / juan 2 / 城市”, while both the section title and the large type on the leaves read 城市 — transcribed as printed, without harmonising. The upper leaf of page 55 still carries 風俗 in its running head (its right half being the tail of the 風俗 prose), so the section begins part-way down a leaf. This batch also re-read the lower leaf of page 56 — the registrar’s thirty-six indigenous names, read in batch M10 — at high magnification (1800 px half-leaf crops), correcting three characters and confirming two: what M10 read as 萬岡村 is 莆圍村, as 整頭村 is 墪頭村 (with 土 beneath) and as 塘蔭村 is 塘蓢村 (艹 plus 朗, as in 蛋家蓢墟 here), while 莘塘村 and 西歷村 stand as read — all five had been listed as M10 character gaps and are now settled; and in the “Cities and Markets” list the second column from the right of the upper leaf of page 56, read as 大坳墟 in M10, is in fact 大步墟. The wording of the batch M10 entry has been corrected accordingly.
