In December 1641, Lung Yeuk Tau village was plundered by Mianhua Wang, a bandit from Silver Bottle Peak in Huizhou; Zhou Xiyao, magistrate of Xin'an, dispatched government troops to suppress them, capturing over thirty bandit leaders including Mianhua Wang and killing more than three hundred others.
