1850-09-07 · 香港

1850年9月7日，法國籍船隻「亞爾勃號」由香港出發，前往秘魯，船上運載華工數以百計。航行途中，有華工發動暴動，造成船長、大副、二副、廚師及理貨員共五人喪命，水手之後被迫將船掉頭返航。

On 7 September 1850, the French ship "Albert" set out from Hong Kong for Peru, carrying hundreds of Chinese labourers; during the voyage, the Chinese labourers rioted, causing the deaths of five persons in total, namely the captain, the first mate, the second mate, the cook and the supercargo, and the sailors were afterwards forced to turn the ship back.
