呢個領域把「環保主義者」（倡議者）同「環境工作者」（官員、企業、專業人士）放埋一齊，因為職業欄冇區分兩者。名單唔係環保運動參與者名單。

環保團體嘅董事會成員已按各會官方網頁收錄；但董事會以外嘅職員、成員、發言人同義工大多冇官方逐人名冊，未收錄。
Board members of environmental groups are now taken from each organisation’s own website, but staff, members, spokespeople and volunteers below board level mostly have no official per-person register and are absent.
環境政策官員只按職業欄原文收錄，唔會因為佢任職環境部門就當佢係環保主義者。
Environment officials are listed by their recorded occupation only; working in an environment department does not make someone an environmentalist.
企業名稱含「環保」字樣嘅董事，只有職業欄自己寫明環保身分才計入；公司名本身唔算。
Directors of firms whose names contain “environmental” are counted only where the occupation field says so; a company name alone does not qualify.

Fields are our own grouping by the registered occupation, not an official classification. One person can belong to several fields, so the counts do not add up to the directory total.
只認職業欄同職務界別，唔會由傳記內文推斷：實測傳記提到天主教或基督教學校名（例如高主教書院）嘅人，絕大多數唔係神職人員。
Membership uses the occupation field and role only, never biography text: most people whose biographies name a Catholic or Anglican school are not clergy.
名單按中文名碼位排序，唔代表排名、知名度或者重要性；領域頁唔會為任何人評分。
Names are ordered by character code, implying no ranking, fame or importance; no field page rates anyone.
領域頁唔會新增任何事實：生卒年、獎項同機構一律返人物條目，並附官方一手來源。
Field pages add no new facts: dates, awards and affiliations belong to the person entry, with an official primary source.
成員少嘅領域照實列出並寫明原因——「點解得幾個人」本身就係資料，比靜靜收起個入口好。
Small fields are still listed, with the reason stated: “why only a few people” is itself information, better than hiding the entrance.
