1359年，元朝末年各地民變紛起，東莞人何真起兵聚眾保衛鄉裏，割據東莞與惠州地區，設置營壘，派部將歐孟素駐守黎洞營，即今沙頭角萊洞，林一石駐守林村營，鄒子能駐守岑田營，即今錦田。
In 1359, at the end of the Yuan dynasty when rebellions broke out across the country, He Zhen of Dongguan raised troops to defend his home village, occupied the Dongguan and Huizhou areas, set up camps, and stationed his subordinates Ou Mengsu at Lidong Camp (present-day Lai Dong in Sha Tau Kok), Lin Yishi at Lincun Camp, and Zou Zineng at Centian Camp (present-day Kam Tin).
