In 1710, the 49th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing dynasty, Tang Chun-yuen of Kam Tin built the Pin Mo Bridge, and his act of filial piety was recorded in the Xin'an County Gazetteer compiled during the Jiaqing reign.

From 1710 (the 49th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing dynasty) to 1775 (the 40th year of the Qianlong reign), the Tang clan of Ping Shan established the Yeuk Hui Study Hall for clan members and provided an equestrian practice ground there to prepare the younger generation for the military examinations.
