清乾隆九年（1744年），龍躍頭鄧氏建成一座圍村，稱作覲龍圍，亦有人以新圍相稱。
In the 9th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing dynasty (1744), the Tang clan of Lung Yeuk Tau built a walled village called Kan Lung Wai, also known as San Wai.
