1861年2月4日，英方君主頒布樞密院令，把九龍歸入香港殖民地之版圖。
On 4 February 1861, the British monarch issued an Order in Council incorporating Kowloon into the Colony of Hong Kong.

1861年2月4日，英女王頒布一條關於九龍的樞密院頒令；界限街以南的九龍半島土地，自此由租借地轉為「香港殖民地」組成部分。同月30日，港府將該頒令刊憲，九龍法律制度此後與香港島一致。
On 4 February 1861, Queen Victoria issued an Order in Council concerning Kowloon; the land of the Kowloon Peninsula south of Boundary Street thereby changed from leased territory to part of the "Colony of Hong Kong". On the 30th of the same month, the Hong Kong Government gazetted the Order, and Kowloon's legal system thereafter became the same as that of Hong Kong Island.
