1895年10月31日，孫中山於廣州起義失利後到達香港僅兩日，便聯同陳少白及鄭士良離港赴日，目的在於避免遭港府引渡予清政府。

On 31 October 1895, only two days after arriving in Hong Kong following the failure of the Guangzhou uprising, Sun Yat-sen left Hong Kong for Japan together with Chan Siu-bak and Zheng Shiliang in order to avoid extradition to the Qing government by the Hong Kong authorities.
