1902年4月11日，由蒲魯賢、何啟及伊榮共同成立的教育委員會，針對香港各類圖書館進行全面調查，並在報告內倡議設立高等漢文學校。
On 11 April 1902, an education committee formed by Brewin, Ho Kai and Eyre conducted a comprehensive survey of various libraries in Hong Kong and proposed in its report the establishment of a higher Chinese school.

1902年4月19日，尖沙咀的九龍英童學校啟用，該校現稱英皇佐治五世學校，開幕典禮於同日舉行，5月5日開始正式授課。
On 19 April 1902, the Kowloon British School in Tsim Sha Tsui opened; now known as King George V School, its opening ceremony was held on the same day and formal teaching began on 5 May.
