Starting from 1 May 1921, the radio station responsible for transmitting radio time signals was moved from Cape D'Aguilar to Stonecutters Island.

On 4 May 1921, the Secretary for Chinese Affairs issued instructions prohibiting Chinese residents from holding any gatherings to celebrate the founding of the Guangzhou Nationalist Government.

1921年5月23日，時任香港總督司徒拔為取締廣州國民政府成立慶典的安排道歉，並指出港府只視北京之民國政府為合法政權。
On 23 May 1921, then Governor of Hong Kong Stubbs apologized for arrangements to suppress celebrations of the founding of the Guangzhou Nationalist Government, stating that the Hong Kong Government recognized only the Republican government in Beijing as legitimate.
