1992年2月3日，石崗船民中心內南越與北越船民因熱水使用問題爆發衝突，居住區隨後起火，死亡人數為24人，受傷者約120人。
On 3 February 1992, South Vietnamese and North Vietnamese boat people at the Shek Kong Vietnamese Refugee Centre clashed over the use of hot water, and the living area subsequently caught fire, resulting in 24 deaths and about 120 injuries.
