On 22 December 2017, a seminar on developing nuclear energy for a safe future was co-organised by the Open University of Hong Kong, the Department of Advanced Nuclear Engineering of Pohang University of Science and Technology in South Korea, the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, the Hong Kong Nuclear Society, and City University of Hong Kong.
