林順潮（Dennis S.C. Lam）係國際知名眼科臨床科學家同眼科領軍人物，現任香港中文大學（深圳）犇亞國際眼科研究所所長。佢係香港大學內外全科醫學士、香港中文大學醫學博士、英國皇家眼科學院院士、英國愛丁堡皇家外科醫學院院士、香港眼科醫學院院士同香港醫學專科學院院士。林順潮從醫40餘年，專注於複雜眼病及主要致盲眼病嘅研究。佢累計發表SCI論文900餘篇，H指數為90，文章發表於《柳葉刀》（The Lancet）等國際頂級期刊。林順潮曾任香港中文大學醫學院副院長（2004-2009）、眼科及視覺科學學系主任13年（1998-2011）同中山眼科中心國家重點實驗室主任（2012-2020）。佢亦曾任2008年世界眼科大會（WOC）主席，連續5屆被評選為「世界眼科100強人物」之一。2026年，林順潮榮登全球眼科Power List TOP 10，成為唯一入選嘅華人。佢嘅兩個主要研究範疇為白內障及近視防治，以及青光眼、黃斑及視網膜疾病。

Professor Dennis S.C. Lam is an internationally renowned ophthalmologist and clinical scientist. He is currently Director of the Benya International Eye Institute at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). He holds MBBS from the University of Hong Kong and MD from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, UK. He has published over 900 SCI papers with an H-index of 90. He served as Associate Dean of the CUHK Faculty of Medicine (2004-2009) and Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences (1998-2011). He was Chairman of the World Ophthalmology Congress in 2008 and has been named among the "World's Top 100 Ophthalmologists" for five consecutive terms. In 2026, he was ranked in the Top 10 of the Global Ophthalmology Power List, the only Chinese person to do so.
