葉劉淑儀（Regina Ip Lau Suk-yee）1950年8月24日出世，係香港政治人物，獲頒金紫荊星章同太平紳士榮銜。葉劉淑儀畢業於香港大學，取得文學士學位，之後赴英國格拉斯哥大學深造，取得文學碩士學位，亦獲美國史丹福大學管理學碩士學位。1975年，葉劉淑儀加入香港政府任職政務主任，展開30多年公務員生涯。1998年7月，佢獲委任為保安局局長，成為香港首位出任呢個職位嘅女性。2002年高官問責制實施後，佢成為14位主要官員之一，並晉身行政會議。葉劉淑儀統領嘅紀律部隊成員約6萬3千人，佔全香港公務員隊伍三分之一。2003年，佢因推動《國家安全（立法條文）條例草案》引發爭議，同年7月辭任保安局局長。2008年，葉劉淑儀當選立法會議員，其後連任。2011年1月9日，佢創立新民黨並獲選為黨主席。2017年，佢參選行政長官但未能當選。同年7月，佢獲委任為行政會議非官守成員。葉劉淑儀亦創立匯賢智庫。

Regina Ip Lau Suk-yee GBS JP (born 24 August 1950) is a Hong Kong politician. She graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a BA, then earned an MA from the University of Glasgow and an MSc from Stanford University. In 1975, she joined the Hong Kong government as an Administrative Officer, beginning a 30-plus year civil service career. In July 1998, she was appointed Secretary for Security, the first woman to hold that post. After the ministerial accountability system was introduced in 2002, she became one of the 14 principal officials and a member of the Executive Council. The disciplined services she led comprised about 63,000 personnel, one-third of Hong Kong's civil service. In 2003, she resigned as Secretary for Security after controversy over the National Security Bill. In 2008, she was elected to the Legislative Council and was re-elected. On 9 January 2011, she founded the New People's Party and was elected its chairperson. In 2017, she ran for Chief Executive but was not elected. In July 2017, she was appointed a non-official member of the Executive Council.
