鄧開榮，BBS，MH，JP（Deng Kairong）是香港沙田區議會委任議員，並無申報政治聯繫。他獲頒銅紫荊星章（BBS）、榮譽勳章（MH），並獲委任為太平紳士（JP），反映其長期參與社會及地區服務。他於2024年1月1日隨第七屆區議會上任，任期四年。在區議會內，他出任食物環境衞生委員會副主席，並為交通運輸委員會及社會福利及青年委員會委員，以及提振地區經濟專責工作小組主席及大廈管理工作小組成員，關注環境衞生、交通、社福及地區經濟等事務。其議員辦事處設於馬鞍山耀安邨耀和樓，服務耀安邨一帶居民。耀安邨位於馬鞍山，是區內主要公共屋邨之一，居民對交通接駁、環境衞生及社區設施的需求殷切。全港十八區第七屆區議會共有470名議員；沙田區議會由8名地方選區議員、16名地區委員會界別議員、17名委任議員及1名當然議員合共42人組成。除上述議會職務及公開資料外，關於他的早年經歷、事業及獲頒勳章的年份等，公開資料相當有限，本館未能進一步核實，謹此說明。

Deng Kairong, BBS, MH, JP, is an appointed member of the Sha Tin District Council and reports no political affiliation. He has been awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star (BBS) and the Medal of Honour (MH) and appointed as a Justice of the Peace (JP), reflecting his long record of social and community service. He took office on 1 January 2024 for the seventh-term council's four-year term. On the council he serves as vice-chairman of the Food, Environment and Hygiene Committee and sits on the Traffic and Transport Committee and the Social Welfare and Youth Committee, and he chairs the task group on boosting the local economy and is a member of the building management working group, focusing on environmental hygiene, transport, social welfare and the local economy. His ward office is on the second floor of Yiu Wo House, Yiu On Estate, Ma On Shan, serving residents of the estate and its surroundings. Yiu On Estate is one of the main public housing estates in Ma On Shan, where residents have strong demand for transport connections, environmental hygiene and community facilities. The Sha Tin District Council is one of the larger district councils in Hong Kong, with 42 members drawn from geographical constituencies, District Committees constituencies, appointed seats and the ex-officio seat. Apart from his council duties and the public records above, very little public information is available about Deng's early life, career and the years in which he received his honours.
