張學友1961年喺香港出世，1984年參加業餘歌唱大賽奪冠入行，與劉德華、黎明、郭富城並稱「四大天王」。1993年專輯《吻別》成為華語樂壇最暢銷唱片之一，佢以精準嘅咬字同克制嘅情感處理被尊稱「歌神」。佢亦係認真嘅電影演員，多次獲金像獎提名；世界巡演場次同票房長期保持華人歌手紀錄。三十年來佢嘅歌聲陪伴咗幾代香港人嘅悲歡離合。

Jacky Cheung, born in Hong Kong in 1961, won a singing contest in 1984 and rose through the 1980s to become one of the 'Four Heavenly Kings' of Cantopop. His 1993 album The Goodbye Kiss (吻別) became one of the best-selling Chinese albums ever, and his vocal craft — crystalline phrasing, emotional restraint — earned him the title 'God of Songs'. He is also a serious film actor, repeatedly nominated at the Hong Kong Film Awards.
