張叔平（William Chang Suk-ping，1953年11月12日生於香港），人稱「阿叔」，祖籍江蘇無錫，香港電影剪接師、美術指導及服裝設計師。他自小喜歡繪畫，常隨父母看電影，並從《中國學生周報》的影評認識各國導演；先後就讀聖士提反書院附屬小學及新法書院，曾在香港大學校外課程部修讀藝術文憑，其後赴加拿大溫哥華藝術學院修讀電影製作，回港後先做過服裝設計，1980年代初轉做美術指導。1985年，他憑嚴浩《似水流年》首奪香港電影金像獎最佳美術指導。1980年代末起，他與王家衛長期合作，包辦其電影的美術、服裝與剪接，先後參與《旺角卡門》《阿飛正傳》《東邪西毒》《重慶森林》《花樣年華》《2046》《一代宗師》等片，其視覺風格成為王家衛電影的標誌。他的設計精緻細膩，善用色彩、布料與陳設營造時代氛圍與人物情緒，剪接則以節奏和留白見長。除王家衛外，他亦為關錦鵬、譚家明、嚴浩、徐克、姜文、杜琪峯等導演操刀。2000年，他憑《花樣年華》奪得第五十三屆康城影展技術大獎，並於第二十屆香港電影金像獎同時獲得最佳美術指導、最佳服裝造型設計及最佳剪接；他亦憑《笑傲江湖II東方不敗》《夜半歌聲》《讓子彈飛》《一代宗師》等片再獲服裝造型獎，憑《重慶森林》《一代宗師》再獲最佳剪接，並以《一代宗師》奪亞洲電影大獎最佳美術指導及最佳造型設計，累計十多次奪得香港電影金像獎。2014年，他憑《一代宗師》獲第八十六屆奧斯卡金像獎最佳服裝設計提名，是少數獲此提名的華語電影工作者。

William Chang Suk-ping, born in Hong Kong on 12 November 1953 and known as 'Uncle', traces his family to Wuxi in Jiangsu and is a Hong Kong film editor, production designer and costume designer. Fond of drawing from childhood, he often went to the cinema with his parents and came to know directors from around the world through the film criticism of the Chinese Students' Weekly; he attended St Stephen's College Preparatory School and New Method College, studied for an art diploma in the University of Hong Kong's department of extramural studies, and read film production at the Vancouver School of Art in Canada, after which he first worked in fashion design before turning to art direction in the early 1980s. In 1985 he won his first Hong Kong Film Award for Best Art Direction with Yim Ho's Homecoming. From the late 1980s he collaborated over the long term with Wong Kar-wai, handling the art direction, costume design and editing of his films — among them As Tears Go By, Days of Being Wild, Ashes of Time, Chungking Express, In the Mood for Love, 2046 and The Grandmaster — and his visual style became a hallmark of Wong's cinema. His designs are meticulous, using colour, fabric and setting to evoke period atmosphere and emotion, while his editing is noted for rhythm and use of emptiness. Besides Wong, he has worked with directors such as Stanley Kwan, Patrick Tam, Yim Ho, Tsui Hark, Jiang Wen and Johnnie To. In 2000 he won the Technical Grand Prize at the 53rd Cannes Film Festival for In the Mood for Love and, at the 20th Hong Kong Film Awards, took Best Art Direction, Best Costume and Make-up Design and Best Film Editing for the same film; he later won Best Costume and Make-up Design again for Swordsman II, The Phantom Lover, Let the Bullets Fly and The Grandmaster, took Best Film Editing again for Chungking Express and The Grandmaster, and won Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design at the Asian Film Awards for The Grandmaster, collecting the Hong Kong Film Award more than a dozen times. In 2014 he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Costume Design for The Grandmaster, one of the few Chinese-language film artists to receive such a nomination.
