English
Day-to-day work
A day usually means several trips on the same route, departing on time, pulling in safely and watching passengers; incidents such as disputes, illness or road accidents must be reported to the control centre and police to procedure, with written reports. Rosters normally include early, night and rotating rest days.
Entry and licensing
A valid public bus or related commercial vehicle licence is required, along with a medical check, driving assessment and vetting; some operators run train-then-qualify schemes, so ask about pay during training and how licensing is arranged before applying.
Pay and progression
The operator sets pay according to roster, route and length of service with no statutory scale; night, typhoon and overtime arrangements vary, so this site prints no estimate. The route runs bus captain, senior captain or driving instructor, then station master or dispatcher, then operations supervisor.
