公眾地方清潔工負責街道、公園、街市、商場或屋苑公眾地方嘅清潔同廢物處理，入行門檻低，但更制、體力要求同安全裝備要事先問清楚。
物業及環境服務呢個行業係點運作
保安、物業管理同公眾清潔。保安員必須領取保安人員許可證並完成認可訓練（即 QAS 課程），由警務處牌照課發出；物業管理同清潔以承辦商為主要僱主，工時、班次同外判合約差異好大，睇招聘時要問清楚係直接聘用定外判。

Property management and cleansing are mainly contractor employers, so hours, shifts and outsourcing terms vary widely — ask whether you are hired directly or through a contractor.

You follow a cleaning route and schedule: collecting waste on rounds, cleaning facilities, restocking supplies and reporting damage or standing water, along with sorting recyclables as instructed. Some posts operate scrubber dryers, pressure washers or compactor equipment, which requires training.
There is no statutory licence or academic requirement; the usual expectations are fitness for physical work, following instructions and punctuality. Cleaning at government venues and large properties is mostly provided by contractors under contract, so terms, rosters and benefits follow the contractor's notices, and some employers require basic safety training.
The employer or contractor sets monthly, daily or hourly pay with no statutory scale; shift, overtime and typhoon-duty arrangements depend on the contract, so this site prints no estimate. The route runs cleaner, cleaning team leader, foreman or supervisor, then venue supervisor or contractor management, with moves into machine cleaning or recycling work.
