Its advantage is disclosure: ranks, pay scales, academic, fitness and language requirements are all published, and posts advertised on or after 1 July 2022 also require the Basic Law and National Security Law Test.

二級行政主任屬公務員職系，按公務員事務局公布嘅總薪級表支薪，入職薪點會喺招聘公告寫明，之後按年增薪點。試用期同樣三年，表現滿意先轉常額。實際薪點同金額，以公務員事務局公布嘅現行薪酬表同招聘公告為準，本站唔列金額。 晉升路線：二級行政主任 → 一級行政主任 → 高級行政主任，再上係更高嘅行政同管理職位。晉升主要睇工作表現，同埋喺唔同崗位累積嘅經驗，所以調職經驗對長遠發展好重要。

To join the Executive Officer II grade in Hong Kong, you must meet the Civil Service Bureau's entry qualifications. You only need to hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent from any Hong Kong university - an honours classification is not required. You must also pass all the necessary exams: the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), the Joint Recruitment Examination, and the Basic Law and National Security Law Test, with Level 2 or equivalent in the language papers.
Executive Officer II is a civil service grade paid on the Master Pay Scale published by the Civil Service Bureau, with the entry point stated in the recruitment notice and annual increments thereafter. The probationary period is also three years, with confirmation on satisfactory performance. Actual points and amounts are as published in the current Civil Service Bureau pay tables and recruitment notices, and this site prints no amounts. Progression runs: Executive Officer II → Executive Officer I → Senior Executive Officer, then more senior administrative and management posts. Promotion turns mainly on performance and the experience gained across different postings, which makes variety of postings important for long-term development.

政務主任是政府的政策與公共管理工作。2025/26 年度招聘以一級或二級榮譽學士學位為學歷門檻，並要通過綜合招聘考試、聯合招聘考試及《基本法及香港國安法》測試。
投考警員須為香港特別行政區永久性居民，並符合學歷、語文、《基本法及香港國安法》測試及體能等要求；錄取後會在警察學院接受住宿訓練。
消防員（行動／海務）屬消防處紀律部隊職位，主要執行滅火、救援及防火職務。入職以文憑試／會考學歷為主，並須通過視力、體能、模擬實際工作及能力傾向筆試。
海關關員屬紀律部隊員佐級，負責貨物同旅客查驗、緝私、知識產權同消費者保障執法；入職要通過體能測驗同《基本法及香港國安法》測試。
