Police Constable
投考警員須為香港特別行政區永久性居民，並符合學歷、語文、《基本法及香港國安法》測試及體能等要求；錄取後會在警察學院接受住宿訓練。

Civil service grades such as Administrative Officer and Executive Officer, plus the disciplined services — Police, Fire Services, Customs, Immigration and Correctional Services. Its advantage is disclosure: ranks, pay scales, academic, fitness and language requirements are all published, and posts advertised on or after 1 July 2022 also require the Basic Law and National Security Law Test.

投考警員首先一定要係香港永久性居民，學歷要求係文憑試五科第2級或以上（或會考同等資歷），中文同英文都要達到第2級，唔夠嘅話亦都可以參加警隊自設嘅語文筆試。另外一定要通過《基本法同國安法》測試，同埋4×10米穿梭跑、掌上壓、立定跳高、800米跑呢啲體能測試，獲錄取之後仲要喺警察學院完成27星期嘅住宿訓練，通過所有考核先可以正式派駐前線。
警員屬紀律部隊職系，按公務員事務局公布嘅紀律人員（員佐級）薪級表支薪，入職薪點會喺警務處招聘公告寫明，之後按年增薪點；另外有津貼同逾時工作補薪，輪班、通宵更同颱風更係工作常態。實際薪點同金額，以警務處招聘公告同公務員事務局公布嘅現行薪酬表為準，本站唔列金額。 晉升方面，累積服務年資同通過晉升考試之後，可以由警員晉升為高級警員、警長、警署警長，再經遴選升為督察；亦可以選擇專門發展，成為偵緝、交通、反恐等專業部門嘅人員。

To apply for Police Constable, you must first be a permanent Hong Kong resident. Academic requirements include Level 2 in five HKDSE subjects (or HKCEE equivalent), with Level 2 in both Chinese and English; if you don't meet the language grades, you can take the Force's internal language test. You must also pass the Basic Law and National Security Law Test, and fitness assessments including a 4x10m shuttle run, press-ups, standing long jump, and 800m run. If selected, you must complete 27 weeks of residential training at the Police College and pass all assessments before being posted to frontline duties.
Police Constable is a disciplined services grade paid on the Disciplined Services (Rank and File) pay scale published by the Civil Service Bureau, with the entry point stated in the Police recruitment notice and annual increments thereafter; allowances and overtime pay come on top, and shift work, overnight duty and typhoon call-outs are routine. Actual points and amounts are as published in Police recruitment notices and the current Civil Service Bureau pay tables, and this site prints no amounts. On promotion, service experience and promotion examinations take you from Constable to Senior Constable, Sergeant and Station Sergeant, then by selection to Inspector; officers may also specialise in criminal investigation, traffic or counter-terrorism units.

政務主任是政府的政策與公共管理工作。2025/26 年度招聘以一級或二級榮譽學士學位為學歷門檻，並要通過綜合招聘考試、聯合招聘考試及《基本法及香港國安法》測試。
行政主任專長資源與系統管理，調派到各政策局及部門。學士學位即可投考，不一定要榮譽等級——與政務主任不是同一條路。
消防員（行動／海務）屬消防處紀律部隊職位，主要執行滅火、救援及防火職務。入職以文憑試／會考學歷為主，並須通過視力、體能、模擬實際工作及能力傾向筆試。
海關關員屬紀律部隊員佐級，負責貨物同旅客查驗、緝私、知識產權同消費者保障執法；入職要通過體能測驗同《基本法及香港國安法》測試。
