1531年，東莞五都（即今日香港一帶）人士馮體立，在辛卯科鄉試裏憑《詩經》取得舉人身份，起初獲委任為南直隸海州學正，之後升任山東滋陽縣官職，再陸續調往廣西羅城縣及雲南蒙自縣出任知縣。
In 1531, Feng Tili, a man of the Fifth Du of Dongguan County (the area of present-day Hong Kong), obtained the juren degree in the Xinmao provincial examination through the Classic of Poetry, was first appointed Director of Studies of Haizhou in South Zhili, later promoted to an official post in Ziyang County, Shandong, and then successively transferred to serve as county magistrate in Luocheng County, Guangxi and Mengzi County, Yunnan.
