1872-10-15 · 香港

1872年10月15日，林道三郎成為首位日本駐港副領事；至1873年4月20日，日本在香港設立正式領事館，職責包括管理居港日人事務、與英方及華方聯繫，並兼顧廣東、汕頭、瓊州等地對華相關事宜。

On 15 October 1872, Hayashi Michisaburo became the first Japanese Vice-Consul in Hong Kong; by 20 April 1873, Japan established a formal consulate in Hong Kong, with duties including managing affairs of Japanese residents, liaising with the British and Chinese, and handling China-related matters in Guangdong, Shantou, Qiongzhou, and other places.
