香港大學舉辦了本地首屆中學畢業會考，報考者為691名男生及女生，當中有243人取得合格成績。

The University of Hong Kong held the first local secondary school leaving certificate examination, with 691 male and female candidates, of whom 243 passed.

港府根據一條1915年制定的條例訂立規例，規定由6月15日午夜起，中國所鑄銀幣及銀錠，除經出入口管理處批准外，一律禁止運往中國以外地區；但於香港或中國境外鑄造之銀錠，則可豁免於上述限制。

Under regulations made under an ordinance enacted in 1915, the Hong Kong Government provided that from midnight on 15 June, Chinese-minted silver coins and silver ingots were prohibited from being shipped to places outside China except with the approval of the Import and Export Office, but silver ingots minted in Hong Kong or outside China were exempt from the restriction.
