1944-11-08 · 英國下議院

1944年11月8日，英國副首相艾德禮在下議院答覆議員質詢時表示，政府將促使商界為戰後香港的投資制訂計劃，這是英國官方代表首次公開宣示有意重新管治香港。

On 8 November 1944, British Deputy Prime Minister Attlee, in reply to a parliamentary question in the House of Commons, stated that the government would prompt the business sector to formulate plans for post-war investment in Hong Kong, marking the first public declaration by an official British representative of the intention to re-administer Hong Kong.
