English
Day-to-day work
Turnarounds are tight: after landing comes cabin tidying, restocking and briefing before the next sector, and jet lag and night flights are routine. Beyond service, safety duties include checking emergency equipment, demonstrating procedures and preparing for evacuation, so fitness and quick reactions matter.
Entry and training
As advertised by the airline: secondary education or above, good Chinese and English with other languages an advantage, a medical check and reach requirements, and availability for rotational flying. Training lasts several weeks and covers emergency evacuation, first aid and aircraft types, with assessments to pass.
Pay and progression
The airline sets pay by rank, flying hours and layover allowances with no statutory scale; the structure follows the company's published terms and this site prints no estimate. The route runs flight attendant, senior attendant, cabin supervisor, then cabin services manager or instructor, with moves into ground services, aviation safety or training.
