機電、電訊、鋁窗、飛機維修等技術工種，好多都要法定註冊或牌照：電業工程人員向機電工程署註冊（A／B／C／R／H 級），飛機維修走 HKAR-66 執照，無人機操作要民航處註冊。註冊級別直接決定你可以合法做邊類工程，唔可以越級。
Electro-mechanical, telecoms, window and aircraft maintenance trades often require statutory registration or a licence: electrical workers register with the EMSD at grades A, B, C, R or H, aircraft maintenance follows HKAR-66 licensing, and drone operators register with the CAD. Your grade decides which work you may legally take on.
