On 20 July 1274, Yan Yizhang, a salt official of Guanfu Chang, visited the area of North and South Fat Tong, corresponding to present-day Tung Lung Chau and Tai Miu Wan in Sai Kung, and afterwards inscribed a stone text at North Fat Tong to commemorate the event.
