Every entry is citable. Press “Cite this entry” for a Chinese footnote, Chinese bibliography, APA or Chicago note — all derived from the registered source and the generated archive, never hand-written. If a registered source has no publication year, the citation prints the access date and says so.

The Hong Kong Confucian Hall was located on Caroline Hill Road in Causeway Bay; the building opened to the public upon completion and was a rare early venue in Hong Kong dedicated to assembly use for Chinese.
In 1935, the Hong Kong Government enacted an ordinance providing that the notes issued by the Mercantile Bank, the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank and the Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China were legal tender; it also established an Exchange Fund, replaced the note-issuing guarantee with certificates of indebtedness, and purchased and withdrew silver dollars from the public.
Thereafter, the Hong Kong dollar abandoned the silver standard and was pegged to the pound sterling at a rate of sixteen Hong Kong dollars to one pound.
