李添嬡

English

A priest of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui. The province's official history records that Bishop Ronald Hall ordained her in 1944 and describes her as the first woman priest in the Anglican Communion; the same page notes that many people remember her as the first woman ordained in the Hong Kong-Macau diocese, while the second, third and fourth women priests ordained later by Bishop Gilbert Baker were the ones formally recognised by the Anglican Communion. The official page does not state her years of birth or death, her English name or the posts she held after ordination.
