鋁窗師傅負責檢查、維修同更換鋁窗；由於有墮窗風險，強制驗窗計劃同小型工程制度對相關工序有法定要求。
建造及維修呢個行業係點運作
地盤工、水喉、木工、油漆、鋁窗、冷氣等工種。呢個行業靠工藝同年資：建造業議會同水務署各有註冊／訓練制度，學徒制（邊做邊讀）係最常見嘅入行通道，持牌水喉匠更要向水務署註冊。工作體力要求高，安全訓練係開工前嘅硬性條件。
Site work and the wet trades — plumbing, carpentry, painting, window frames and air conditioning. This sector runs on craft skill and years on the tools: the CIC and the Water Supplies Department each run registration and training schemes, apprenticeship (learn while you earn) is the usual way in, and licensed plumbers must register with the WSD. The work is physical, and safety training is compulsory before you start.

上門檢查時要逐隻窗試開關、睇窗鉸同拉釘有冇鬆脫或銹蝕、檢查膠邊老化同窗框變形；維修就要喺安全情況下拆窗、換件、重新封膠同試水。高層單位工作涉及高空安全，要按程序用安全帶同工作平台。
強制驗窗計劃下，收到法定通知嘅業主須委任合資格人士檢驗，並由註冊小型工程承建商進行所需修葺；部分窗類工程屬小型工程項目，須按《建築物條例》呈報。行內亦可考建造業議會工藝測試以證明技能。
薪酬由僱主按日薪、件工或月薪決定，冇法定薪級；自僱接單就按報價扣物料成本，收入同開工日數同工程數量掛鈎，本站唔估算收入。路線：學徒／助手 → 鋁窗技工 → 師傅 → 管工或承辦商，亦可專做驗窗檢驗或幕牆維修。

On site you open and close each window, check hinges and rivets for looseness or corrosion, and look at gasket ageing and frame distortion; repairs mean removing the sash safely, replacing parts, re-sealing and water testing. Work in high-rise units involves height safety, using harnesses and platforms to procedure.
Under the mandatory window inspection scheme, owners who receive a statutory notice must appoint a qualified person to inspect, and any required repairs must be done by a registered minor works contractor; some window items are minor works that must be reported under the Buildings Ordinance. A Construction Industry Council trade test is also used to demonstrate skill.
The employer sets day rates, piece rates or monthly pay with no statutory scale; self-employed technicians deduct material costs from the quoted price, so income follows working days and job volume, and this site prints no estimate. The route runs apprentice or helper, window technician, tradesman, then supervisor or contractor, with scope to specialise in window inspection or curtain wall maintenance.

水喉學徒係香港水管工程嘅入行起點：跟持牌水喉匠做供水同排水工程，同時讀職專課程，累積年資後考水務署水喉匠考試。
建築工人係地盤前線工種嘅統稱：紮鐵、釘板、落石屎、砌磚、批盪同拆卸等。入行靠訓練同工藝測試確立技能，而喺地盤工作要有建造業工人註冊證。
註冊水喉匠（持牌水喉匠）係唯一可以合法承接指定供水系統工程嘅身分，牌照由水務署簽發，要先通過水喉匠考試。
冷氣技術員做空調系統嘅安裝、保養同維修，會接觸受管制雪種同電力部分，所以法定同安全要求都跟得緊。
