清雍正二年（1724年），上水廖九我將位於帚管莆（即現今港島掃桿埔）的嘗田五十石捐出，給予文岡書院（院址在今深圳南頭），充作該書院的社田。
In the 2nd year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing dynasty (1724), Liu Kow-ngor of Sheung Shui donated fifty piculs of his ancestral fields at Chau Kwun Po (present-day So Kon Po on Hong Kong Island) to Man Kong College (located in present-day Nantou, Shenzhen) as community fields for the college.
