In the 4th year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing dynasty (1726), the first Tai Ping Ching Chiu was held at Nga Tsin Wai in Kowloon, establishing the custom of holding it once every ten years.

In the 4th year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing dynasty (1726), the Ng, Chan and Lee clans jointly took part in the reconstruction of Nga Tsin Village in Kowloon and built a surrounding wall, which became Nga Tsin Wai; the Tin Hau Temple was also completed in the same year.
