Why are there so many South Asians in Hong Kong?
First, a correction: the largest non-Chinese communities are Filipinos and Indonesians, mostly domestic helpers. South Asians — Indian, Nepali and Pakistani communities — are smaller but older, arriving with the colonial administration.
