馮國經1945年生於香港，祖籍廣東鶴山，利豐集團第三代傳人、馮氏集團主席。他畢業於英皇佐治五世學校，1962年赴美升學，先後取得麻省理工學院工業管理學士同電機工程碩士學位，1970年再於哈佛大學取得商業經濟學博士並留校任教，1974年返港加入家族生意利豐。他把這家傳統貿易行轉型為以供應鏈管理為核心的跨國採購集團，業務網絡遍及全球，與弟弟馮國綸長期共同掌舵。公職方面，他1991年至2000年出任香港貿易發展局主席，1999年至2008年任香港機場管理局主席，2001年至2009年任香港大學校務委員會主席，並曾任大珠三角商務委員會主席同全國政協委員，亦於2007至2008年出任國際商會副主席。他分別於2003年及2010年獲頒金紫荊星章同大紫荊勳章，係香港商界在國際經貿舞台上最具代表性的聲音之一。

Victor Fung Kwok-king, born in Hong Kong in 1945 to a family from Heshan, Guangdong, is the third-generation head of the Fung family's Li & Fung group and chairman of the Fung Group. Educated at King George V School, he left for the United States in 1962 and took a bachelor's degree in industrial management and a master's in electrical engineering at MIT, followed by a doctorate in business economics at Harvard in 1970, where he then taught; he returned to Hong Kong in 1974 to join the family trading firm. He transformed Li & Fung from a traditional trading house into a multinational sourcing group built on supply-chain management, with a network spanning the globe, and long ran it with his brother William Fung. In public life he chaired the Hong Kong Trade Development Council from 1991 to 2000, the Airport Authority from 1999 to 2008 and the University of Hong Kong council from 2001 to 2009, chaired the Greater Pearl River Delta Business Council, served as a member of the CPPCC, and was a vice-chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce in 2007–08. He received the Gold Bauhinia Star in 2003 and the Grand Bauhinia Medal in 2010.
