事實應該係點 / What really happens

電影讓三名賊王卓子強、葉國歡、季正雄在1997年同一酒樓出現，江湖盛傳三人聯手。三人原型為張子強、葉繼歡、季炳雄，現實中三方從未合作。據南華早報及內地報道，張子強只與葉繼歡合謀，1996年5月在港綁架李嘉誠長子李澤鉅，勒索逾十億元；季炳雄自成一路，其持械拒捕發生於2001年5月22日旺角，打傷兩名警員，並非電影的1997年。三人下場各異：張子強1998年在內地經終審判處死刑並處決；葉繼歡1996年登岸時中彈被捕、下半身癱瘓，2017年4月19日在瑪麗醫院羈留病房因肺癌病逝，終年56歲；季炳雄2003年12月在佐敦被飛虎隊拘捕，判囚24年，2020年1月刑滿後被遞解往美國。

In the film the three mobsters Cheuk Tze-keung, Yip Kwok-foon and Kwai Ching-hung turn up at the same restaurant in 1997, and the city buzzes with talk of a joint mega-heist. They are based on Cheung Tze-keung, Yip Kai-foon and Kwai Ping-hung, who in reality never worked as a trio. According to the South China Morning Post and mainland reports, Cheung plotted only with Yip, kidnapping Li Ka-shing's eldest son Victor Li in Hong Kong in May 1996 for a ransom of over HK$1 billion. Kwai operated on his own, and his armed shoot-out with police took place in Mong Kok on 22 May 2001 — not in 1997 as portrayed. Their fates differed: Cheung was executed in mainland China in 1998; Yip was shot and paralysed when arrested in 1996 and died of lung cancer in custody in 2017, aged 56; Kwai was arrested in 2003 and jailed for 24 years, then deported after his release in January 2020.

• 電影把三名賊王放在1997年同一酒樓出現、渲染三人聯手；現實中張子強、葉繼歡、季炳雄三方從未合作，季炳雄與二人更無共事紀錄。
• 電影把季炳雄原型角色的持械拒捕安排在1997年前後；史實是2001年5月22日在旺角發生，並打傷兩名警員。
