背景 Background

1972 年 10 月 29 日，香港電台首播電視劇《獅子山下》，內容圍繞獅子山南麓橫頭磡徙置區居民嘅生活。劇集以寫實單元呈現基層住屋、鄰里同謀生，後來多季延續；1979 年羅文主唱同名主題曲，令「獅子山下」精神進入流行文化。本站志錄同文化與媒體專題亦以官方大事記登記呢個節點。

On 29 October 1972 Radio Television Hong Kong first broadcast Below the Lion Rock, centred on residents of the Wang Tau Hom resettlement area on the southern slopes of Lion Rock. The series brought housing, neighbourhood life and livelihood onto a shared screen; in 1979 Roman Tam sang the theme song of the same name, embedding the “below Lion Rock” spirit in popular culture.
