Why it matters

It staged a stock-market frenzy as family feud; “Great Era” later became everyday shorthand for financial boom-and-bust talk.

背景 Background

The Greed of Man premiered on TVB in 1992, intertwining the stock market with family feud, with a cast including Bowie Lam, Adam Cheng and Sean Lau. Its later theme song “Time Is Heartless” (sung by Adam Cheng) and dialogue about turning eras are often reused when people talk about speculation and life’s swings. This entry records the work as financial-culture memory; it is not investment advice and carries no market figures.
