In 1672, Li Kecheng, as the magistrate of Xin'an, coordinated the recompilation of the Xin'an County Gazetteer, which is now lost.

1672 · 香港地區沿海、西貢蠔湧、瀝源 · 清康熙十一年九月
1672年10月至11月期間，來自臺灣的海盜李奇進犯香港地區沿岸，於西貢蠔湧登岸殺害及搶掠當地居民；知縣李可成聯同遊擊蔡昶帶領鄉勇與官兵，追擊至瀝源附近，最終把該批海盜全部擒獲誅殺。
Between October and November 1672, the pirate Li Qi from Taiwan raided the coast of the Hong Kong area, landing at Ho Chung in Sai Kung to kill and plunder the local residents; county magistrate Li Kecheng, together with guerrilla commander Cai Chang, led local militia and government troops in pursuit to near Lek Yuen, and finally captured and executed all the pirates.

於康熙十一年（1672年），有來自臺灣的李奇等率領賊船從事劫掠活動，其行蹤曾出現於蠔湧附近。
In the 11th year of the Kangxi reign (1672), Li Qi and others from Taiwan led pirate ships in raiding activities, and their movements appeared near Ho Chung.
