林行止1940年出世，1973年同妻子羅凱清創辦《信報財經新聞》，係香港第一份專業財經報紙，喺香港經濟起飛年代成為投資者同專業人士必讀。佢以筆名「史威仁」撰寫嘅每日專欄，將古典經濟學同對香港社會嘅敏銳觀察結合，影響咗幾代讀者。2014年佢淡出每日寫作，並將控制權售予李澤楷。

Lam Hang-chi, born in 1940, co-founded the Hong Kong Economic Journal in 1973 with his wife Luo Hoi-king. It was Hong Kong's first dedicated financial newspaper and became essential reading for investors and professionals during the city's economic boom. Lam's daily columns, written under the pen name 'Shi Wei-ren', combined classical economics with sharp observation of Hong Kong society, and influenced generations of readers. He retired from daily writing in 2014 and sold a controlling stake to Richard Li.
