倪匡（1935–2022），上海人，1957年來港，成為中文世界最多產嘅作家之一：寫過三百多部小說，代表作係科幻「衛斯理」系列，另有數百個邵氏電影劇本，同金庸、黃霑、蔡瀾並稱「香港四大才子」。佢寫作速度驚人，衛斯理系列開拓咗華人科幻小說嘅天地，角色深入民心，影視改編無數，成為香港流行文化嘅經典。

Ni Kuang (1935-2022), born in Shanghai, fled to Hong Kong in 1957 and became one of the most prolific writers in Chinese: more than three hundred novels, led by the science-fiction Wesley series, plus hundreds of film scripts for Shaw Brothers. With Jin Yong, Huang Zhan and Chua Lam he was counted among the 'Four Great Talents' of Hong Kong popular culture.
